How do I clean my Tessouat?Our stainless steel does not corrode or rust. Although it is also very durable, this type of steel can get scratched and stained. This is why you should follow some simple rules to keep your Tessouat in good condition. To clean your Tessouat. Simply follow these steps: 1. Pour some warm water in a small bowl, and add some mild dishwashing soap. 2. Dip a soft cloth in the soapy water, and then gently wipe the Tessouat with the damp cloth until the piece is clean. When cleaning it, rub the item along its polish lines. 3. Wipe the remaining soap off your jewelry using a moist cloth dipped in clean water. 4. Dry the Tessouat well with a clean towel, and then leave your Tessouat in the air to dry.

How do I store my Tessouat?Your Tessouat will not tarnish or corrode and doesn’t require special care. It can however get scratched if not cared for properly. You should wear and store your Tessouat so that any contact with other items will not cause damage. For example do not keep your Tessouat in your pocket with keys or loose change, this will possibly cause damage to the finish of the Tessouat. If your Tessouat does get scratched, you can have it professionally polished out by a Jeweller. To keep the original finish please take good care of your Tessouat. Store your Tessouat separately from your other jewellery. It is best if you keep your Tessouat in its individual pouch or box it was received it in. Tessouat's were designed to be worn individually around a chain. If you decide to wear multiple Tessouat's on your chain, be aware they may cause marks on each other.

Can I get my Tessouat wet in the shower?Yes. The medical grade stainless steel your Tessouat is made from is highly resistant to corrosion from water. You can wear your Tessouat in the pool or in the shower and it will be perfectly fine. Dab dry with a towel to keep your Tessouat in perfect condition!

Can I wear my Tessouat in the Sea?Yes, you can wear your Tessouat in the sea, however it is not recommended for prolonged periods of time. This is because the salt in the sea can damage the Tessouat. If your Tessouat is worn in the sea, wash with fresh water immediately afterwards and dry with a soft towel.

Can the chain break?Yes, the chains can break. Your Tessouat will be safe around your neck with the chains we supply. Each chain supplied with the 18 and 33 gramm pendants is tested to withstand up to 9 kilograms of force. More than enough strength, but weak enough to be broken in an emergency. The chain supplied with the 10 gramm Tessouat for children is lighter and much weaker for safety. This chains breaking force is 3 kilograms, more than enough to keep it from breaking under normal use, but weak enough to broken fast in an emergency.
